Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Storyinteracters website, courses, communities, downloadable materials, live or recorded sessions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Services, you accept these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Who We Are

Storyinteracters FZE (the “Company,” “Storyinteracters,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is registered in the United Arab Emirates. Contact details appear at the end of these Terms.

Eligibility & Accounts

- Age: The Services are intended for adults (18+). Users 13–17 may use the Services only with verifiable parental/guardian consent and supervision. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts.
- Account Security: You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for all activities under your account. Account sharing is not permitted.
- Compliance: You agree to comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

- Plans: We offer online subscription memberships (e.g., monthly “Full Access”) and time‑boxed cohort coaching programs (e.g., multi‑month “VIP Coaching”). Plan names and features are shown at checkout and may change from time to time.
- Recurring Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Taxes may apply.
- Price Changes: We may modify pricing with 30 days’ notice (by email or in‑product notice).
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time in your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund already‑paid fees. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Fees are non‑refundable, except where required by law, or if we experience a verified technical fault that prevents reasonable access to the paid Service. Cohort program installments become non‑refundable once the cohort begins. Digital downloads and e‑books are final sale.
- Discounts: We may offer promotions or partner discounts. Discount terms are stated at the time of offer and may change or be withdrawn.
- Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we may suspend or terminate access until fees are paid.

Use Rights & Intellectual Property

All Storyinteracters content (courses, stories, scripts, videos, audio, drills, documents, the Storyinteracters Arabic 2 orthography, trademarks, logos, and the platform) is our intellectual property. You receive a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your own study only.
Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or share paid content outside your household.

User Content & Community Rules

User Content: You retain ownership of any content you provide. You grant us a license to host, store, reproduce, and display such content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Services.
Community Rules: Blog/comments/messaging are for language‑learning topics only. No spam, ads, harassment, or offensive content. Political/religious debates unrelated to language are prohibited.

Certificates & No Outcome Guarantees

Certificates: Completion certificates confirm participation only; they do not certify proficiency or guarantee CEFR/ACTFL levels.
No Warranties of Results: We do not promise any specific outcomes or time‑to‑fluency.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: use the Services unlawfully; share your login; bypass access controls; introduce malware; collect others’ data; post abusive content; or scrape course content.

Third‑Party Services & Links

We use third‑party platforms (e.g., Stripe, hosting/LMS, Zoom, analytics, email/messaging). We are not responsible for their policies.

Live Sessions & Recordings

Some live cohort sessions may be recorded. Participants will be notified. By participating with camera/microphone on, you consent to being recorded for educational access to enrolled learners.

Service Changes & Availability

We may modify or discontinue features. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non‑payment, or misuse. You may cancel at any time. Some provisions survive termination.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided 'as is' and 'as available.' We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

Storyinteracters and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Storyinteracters and its affiliates against claims arising from misuse of the Services or breach of these Terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. Parties will attempt good‑faith informal resolution within 30 days before filing.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days before taking effect.

- Learning data: deleted/anonymized within 12 months of account deletion
- Payment records: 7 years
- Logs: 12–18 months
- Recordings: retained while needed for cohort access

Your Rights

Depending on your location: access, correct, delete, restrict, object, port, or withdraw consent. Opt‑out of marketing at any time.

Cookies
